Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager for Corporate Stores is responsible for managing all aspects of store operations for a company-owned retail store that are designed to improve the productivity and profitability of the Hallmark Corporate Stores under the supervision of a Store Manager. As an Assistant Store Manager, the incumbent serves as a role model for retail management and execution by delivering a consistently exceptional customer experience. The Assistant Store Manager displays strong management skills and is a developer of people. The Assistant Store anager reports directly to the Store Manager.

EXPERIENCE, BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in assignments with increasing management responsibility either within the Corporate Stores, or from related outside experience. experiences that demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and planning skills along with strong management, interpersonal, problem solving, written and verbal skills are required. Familiarity with technology required; computer based training expertise is desirable. Basic qualifications include eligible to work in the United States, must have reliable transportation, must be at least 16 years of age with appropriate work permit as required, and must be willing to work the day before and after major holidays including evenings and/or weekends. In addition, the physical requirements involve the ability to continuously stand/walk; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/kneels/push/pull/lift; climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds; i.e., fixture parts and cartons. Position is Full Time.
